Two-Phase MPM Simulation of Surge Waves Generated by a Granular Landslide on an Erodible Slope

چکیده

A high-speed debris flow sliding into a reservoir can cause huge disaster. Consequently, predicting landslide movement accurately and its potential interaction with water is crucial. This paper developed computational model based on two–layer two–phase material point method (MPM) to simulate surge waves generated by granular landslides an erodible slope. By comparing rigid slope, the effect of slope erodibility process investigated. The takes full account large deformations, fluidisation settlement in soil–water interactions. numerical validated simulated results experimental data. influences internal friction angle, density, elastic modulus, Poisson ratio dilatancy angle wave height are also studied. was then used investigate dry saturated granules along show that both slide increase first crest landslide.
